National Taiwan University – Full-Time Assistant / Associate / Full Professor Position Opening
The Department of Bioenvironmental Systems Engineering at the National Taiwan University invites outstanding candidates with the specialty in Agricultural Engineering or Ecological Engineering to apply for a full-time faculty position at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. The position will become effective on February 1, 2022. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in related fields and demonstrate language fluency in Chinese or English. The applicants should be able to teach Soil Water Conservation, Soil Mechanics, and Ecological Engineering (including planning and design).
Required materials that have to be submitted include:
(1) Curriculum vitae that includes birth date, post-secondary education background, and level of Professorship that you are applying for;
(2) Copy of Ph.D. diploma;
(3) Transcripts of Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. degrees;
(4) List of publications since February 1, 2015. All papers published in journals listed in the Journal Citation Report must be marked with “SCI”;
(5) Papers/book chapters or related materials published since February 1, 2017. Applicants should designate one “SCI” paper as the representative publication, in which the applicant should be the first or corresponding author of the representative publication. For applicants of assistant professorship, doctoral dissertation published no earlier than February 1, 2019 can be considered as the representative publication;
(6) Research statement and plan;
(7) Teaching statement and course syllabi; and
(8) Any other supporting materials.
The candidate who remains in the short list after first-stage screening will be notified by email to provide two letters of recommendation before a given deadline.
